Clinical assessment focusing on biopsychosocial distress. Social work perspectives of the person-in-environment as related to symptoms of psychosocial disorders as defined by the American Psychiatric Association’s (APA) latest edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders. Cultural perspectives, including gender, age, and minoritized status in relation to psychological and behavior disorders are also addressed.
