An approved undergraduate research, creative, or community engagement project directed by a faculty member through enrollment in RCAH 450 (1 to 4 credits) |

An approved study abroad/study away with at least one course at the 300-400 level. |

Demonstrate proficiency in a world language or American Sign Language by completing one of the following two options: |

(1) |
pass the language proficiency test, or |
|
|
(2) |
complete the equivalent language course work through the 202-level and at least one 300-level course. A study abroad or study away experience can substitute for one or more of these courses with approval of the Director of Student Affairs and the Coordinator of Language Proficiency in consultation with the leader of the student's study abroad or study away program. |
