Students may request to change their sex designation with the university through the Spartan One Stop (
onestop.msu.edu). No legal documentation is required. The university currently offers the following sex designation options:
A change to a student’s sex designation will be reflected in university systems that use this information. Students cannot currently choose where their sex designation appears within university systems.
