Office of Institutional Equity

The Office of Institutional Equity (OIE) is responsible for the University’s compliance with federal and state laws and University policies and procedures regarding discrimination, harassment, relationship violence, stalking, and sexual misconduct.  The Office is responsible for investigating all allegations of prohibited discrimination and harassment, relationship violence, stalking, and sexual misconduct, and provides training to recognize and prevent such incidents. The Office also collaborates with other campus offices to encourage best practices to promote a culture of inclusion.

OIE reviews concerns related to discrimination and harassment based on sex, gender, gender identity, race, national origin, religion, disability status, and any other protected categories under the University Anti-Discrimination Policy and Policy on Relationship Violence and Sexual Misconduct.
